Genuine question with Kerry fans harping on how strong Munster is. Who was the last Munster team to knock Kerry out of knockout championship since introduction of back door in 2001? Cork have beaten them them in Munster but never in knockout in croke park. With cork concentrating on hurling they wont bate Kerry for a long time.

Munster is strong I believe but kerry have the edge over them..We beat Cork a few times and limerick in the quarters a few years back..other then that haven't played the others in knockout.

If memory serves me its been 18 years since a Connacht team has beaten kerry in a championship match, never mind knocked them out.
Cork have recorded several victories against the Kingdom in that time.
