Id have O'Shea in for Walsh at mf. Walsh has all the tools, but never actually seems to deliver on them

Not bad, I'd have cavanagh instead of Walsh, James McCarthy at wing back (even after the no show in semi)

And here I was thinking there was more to the GAA than Gaelic football. Obviously not.

You only have Brogan in there on reputation. Hasn't had a good year.

Before the Dublin semi final I would have had ROC in full back and Cooper in corner back (he is not a top CB) and probably MDMA in midfield.

Ridiculous post. Karl Lacey, the best tackler in the modern game left out of the supposed best 15 football players in Ireland? Don't be surprised to see him return to the full-back line next year and play a vital role for Donegal again.

Bernard Brogan is not in the best 15, probably not even the best 6 forwards in Ireland with Murphy, O'Donoghue, Donaghy, O'Connor, Clarke, Flynn, Connolly all comfortably more effective than him. Emlyn Mulligan could possibly even be better than him but how can he be judged to be the "best" when he's playing in Leitrim. A hidden treasure of the GAA.

Durcan
Higgins McGee Lacey
McGlynn McCarthy PMurphy
Moran Cavanagh
Connolly Flynn Cooper
Murphy O'Connor O'Donoghue

I agree with you about Walsh.

Séamus O'Shea I presume you mean to put in.

Man of the match against Donegal in Div 2 League final, man of the match against Tyrone, Man of the match against Armagh and Man of the Match against Kildare. Its alright sure 4 out of 6 isn't good enough because he's from Monaghan, he is more deserving of an All Star this year than Colin Walshe and Conor McManus where in 2013.

I agree. He needs to: (i) quit hurling (ii) give himself a kick up the backside (iii) move his hurling making business to another county so that he can play with proper team (rather than a collection of individuals who don't quite seem to know what they are it and why they are it)

Sorry, just had a better look, your right there goldrick, it's more like an all stars than the actual best 15 players in Ireland.

Aidan O'Shea drifts in and out of games. When he's on it, he's good. When he's not, you'll find him falling over or blowing hard.

Emlyn Mulligan for me a hidden gem because he plays for Leitrim but is a class act, would easily get onto any of the top teams in Ireland.

There's a right few players around the country who would hold their own in any of the 'big' squads from the top 8.
e.g. off the top of my head

Heslin - Westmeath
Murphy - Carlow
Quinn - Longford
Mulligan - Leitrim
Quigleys - Fermanagh, (although in Seamie's case a LOT of work would be involved!)
Tubridy - Clare

No MesAmis, Aidan O'Shea. Seamus wasn't great this year, and isn't the player his brother is anyway. AOS seems to suffer from the C.Ronaldo syndrome - because he has an unusual haircut and expresses his genuine opinion when asked, instead of the party line, people seem to want him to fail, and anything he does wrong gets remembered. The reality is, there aren't many midfielders in living memory who could have scored that goal against cork, and his collision with O'Connor probably gave Kerry the platform they needed around the middle in our loss. I can tell you now, as good as moran was, he wouldn't have had 40 odd possessions had that not happened, the drawn game showed that, where o'shea ruled the skies for the entire third quarter. The guy doesn't get the credit he deserves, because people seem to have a personal dislike for him.

You cannot have Flynn in there. A good athlete but not in the top 15 in the country skill wise
