Commiserations to Donegal. Ye were the difficult opponent I expected. It took a massive effort on our behalf. We've had tough defeats like the '11 final where with 10 minutes to go from our perspective we let it slip away and then last year lost out in a classic game.
The Donegal fans I spoke to before and after the game were sporting. I'm sure our counties will lock horns in battle again. All the best.

legend your words are much more sporting than your fellow county man mr spillane....just heard him on rte radio...this guy is unbelievable...he spent the interview going on about donegal and the system and the blanket defence...did kerry not have a system?..did kerry not use a blanket defence?...also of course he failed to allude to o'mahoney blocking murphys runs during the game and of course keane's unsporting behaviour when kicking the ball of durcans tee
spillane has no grace even in victory, and of course we all know about his lack of grace in defeat

Yes we are gutted, fair play to Kerry, and best of luck, it was not to be for us yesterday. after last year , i never thought we would get as far this year, all of the Donegal teams, Declan, Jim are heros, who know s hopefully we will be back next year,
