Congratulations to my county of Kerry!

(Oldest Posts First)

It was some battle yesterday. Took a massive effort to come out on top. Great day and night in the capital. Number 37 is a sweet one against all the odds.

Hats off to both our minors and seniors on doing the double. The celebrations are going to be awesome. Ciarrai abu! :D

Congratulations to Kerry, worthy champions this year. The versatility that they showed over the last three games shows how good a manager Fitzmaurice is, in my opinion.

Yes a big congratulations to Kerry on their win yesterday. Fitzmaurice deserves huge praise for the way he has set the team out throughout the Championship. The old notion of just going out and playing your own game is a dead duck. It really is horses for courses and Kerry have been masters at that this year.

Enjoy all the celebrations and no doubt you'll be even more formidable when the Gooch returns. Is there any truth that Tommy Walsh will be back? That was a very good minor team also. No doubt we'll be seeing a few of them in senior colours soon too.

Cynical, negative, puke/anti-football, Shi'ite football bringing about the death of the game and making for one of the worst finals to watch as a neutral/semi-neutral.

Congratulations by the way.... ;-)

@Offside_rule: Donegal have a lot to answer for alright. It must be tough having to view this type of football on a regular basis up in Ulster?

At least Kerry played attacking football in all there other games.

pdempsey - all the terms in my last post were terms straight from Spillanes mouth in relation to defensive football. If the cap fits......

Oh and the scorelines Donegal have put up are you suggesting they haven't been playing attacking football whereas Kerry have? They had more scores that Kerry in the Final (12 to 11), they outscored Kerry in the semi final (like for like over the 70 minutes), 3-14 to 1-16. In the 1/4s Kerry score 8 points more but were arguably against weaker opposition. Then in the respective Provincials Donegal averaged 19 ppg (over 3 games) and Kerry 22 ppg (over 2).

Lets get away from this myth that Spillane has ye all believing.
