Over the summer Padraig Lucey has taken part in "The Recruit" a reality show to find the next afl star on Fox in Australia. The winner would get a guaranteed contract with an afl. Padraig was eliminated in fourth place but he has just signed a two year contract with Geelong Cats. Why has he never been in around the Kerry set up?

meant to say didnt play football for Kerry. He played with Legion, James O'Donoghue club.
