You're missing 3 or 4 more Donegal men there

Itll be tough. Id put Diarmuid Connolly in there too (dont forget he won an AI club medal in March and was unbelieveable, did okay against Donegal too), but I cant figure out who hed replace on that list (maybe Mcnicholas)

i think connolly will get 1. but the club all ireland will have absolutely no bearing on it.

himself flynn and mchugh will get the 3 half forward positions.

Apat from that, it'll be pretty close to the 1st post

Jesus go handy now, Donegal won't get 9 All Stars even if they win the final, I would agree with some of your selections and the full forward line looks nailed on but Diarmuid Connolly is a shoe in I reckon and Seamus O'Shea has very decent claims, more than Aidan I believe. The goalkeeping position will be interesting this year and could spark controversy although I do think Durcan is ahead of Cluxton after last Sunday, Mac Niallais is a good footballer but not All Star material yet and I don't think McGlynn will get one either but it's the All Stars and there is always controversy, shock and argument so God knows who will get them

hahaha. I may have the green and yellow blinkers on for a few. In fairness Odhran Mac Niallais is the 50/50 chance. I had Diarmiud Connolly in mind alright and maybe Odhran Mac Niallais could get into midfield. David Moran kinda came out of nowhere in the semi finals but hard to leave him out after that game. Odhran could miss out but rest of Donegal lads would def deserve an All Star if Donegal win.

PS I nearly threw Leo McLoone in there but couldnt leave out flynn ;)

1. Paul Durcan - Better season than Kelly. Cluxton is a no go after the semi final.
2. Eamon McGee - Solid all year would need a howler of final not to get one.
3. Neil McGee - Best full back in the country at the minute.
4. Keith Higgns - Mayos best defender all year and had a tough job in both semi finals
5. Paul Murphy - Hasn't put a food wrong all year and Kerry's most consistent defender.
6. Karl Lacey - Reads the game very well from here. It depends who has the better final him or Crowley and that's who will get it.
7. Dessie Mone - Monaghan's heartbeat. Best wing back in the country in my opinion.
8. David Moran - Has been tipping away neatly and had a really good Munster final as well as All Ireland semi final.
9. Neil Gallagher - One of the best midfielder's in Ireland over the last 4 years fantastic season
10. Paul Flynn - Dublin's best forward all year carried Dublin in that semi final a swell.
11. Shane Walsh - The youngster lit up this years championship and was the main reason Galway got so far. One for the future.
12. Donnchadh Walsh - Kerry's unsung hero over the past 5 years. He has worked his socks off in every game so far this year.
13. Cillian O Connor - The championships top scorer he's a shoe in.
14. Michael Murphy - Has to be there Donegal's go to man when they need scores really gave Rory a roasting last Sunday
15. James O Donoghue - A contender for player of the year as well as all star.

Are the allstars picked from championship only? Or is the league also thrown in? Also I'd like to nominate Colin o'riordan for young player of the year, the 18 year old had some first year and will be a star for the future for sure if the Aussies don't get him.

I have no doubt that the final will see changes made.

Shane Walsh is bloody great footballer but the last thing that fella needs now is an all star. Maybe an All Star nomination but needs to keep improving before we dish out one of them. A very talented player but hopefully he backs up this year next year and wins one with some silverware first

Ryan Mchugh is currently 1/50 with the bookies so unless he scores 2-1 in the wrong goal i'd save the nomination
