Any indication on who will get the gig?

It is the top honour in any referee's career and could have a major impact on deciding where Sam ends up in 2014.

I would guess that it is between David Coldrick and Maurice Deegan.

Typically, the referees who ref the semi finals don't get the final so I can't think of another referee who I'd like to see get it outside of these two. Both are Leinster men so are certainly neutral.

I would be happy with either as they are both capable of letting the game flow when they want to.

My guess would be Eddie Kinsella, he hasn't got caught up in any major controversy this year unlike most of his colleagues

Eddie kinsella. Never got one before. From a neutral province. Commands authority. Got most big calls right in tyrone Monaghan. Did excellent job in club final where he didn't bottle an early black card

Please god don't give it to Coldrick or Deegan, I've rarely seen either of them let a game flow far too picky!! The fact I can't think of which ref Eddie Kinsella is, is a good sign - maybe he'd do a good job!!

It makes no difference who referees this match. Donegal will out do Kerry on the scoreboard, the sideline and most obvious will be how they mentally eat into Kerry's heads and have them believing they are beaten, by halftime. Too much psychology in the Donegal camp, Kerry can't cope....

Eddie Kinsella is getting it from sources I hear. Deegan already has his day in the sun as did Marty and geographic proximity of Sligo to Donegal wouldn't work in his favour either....pity there goes our All Ireland appearance!
