Absolutely! ! Completely unacceptable. Also interference of any kind with referees is not to be tolerated. I hope the book is thrown at these idiots. mod (Mayo) - Posts: 859 - 01/09/2014 15:56:23 1646152 Link 0 |

Absolutely. Maybe even longer. Here is the thing though, these guys exist, they are going to come onto the pitch. It is another nail in the coffin of the gaa's decisions to put an AI semi final outside of croke park. TheMaster (Mayo) - Posts: 16187 - 01/09/2014 16:04:54 1646169 Link 0 |

Some bull of a man in fairness, at one stage he held all 5 lads up and even inched forward for a split second.....I hope Joe Schmidt was watchin'!!! Ah no but in all honesty he needs to get a ban for a year or 2, you can't have that sort of carry on. Htaem (Meath) - Posts: 8657 - 01/09/2014 16:05:55 1646173 Link 0 |
deserves a long ban...pitch is for the players and players alone fabio8 (USA) - Posts: 2182 - 01/09/2014 16:16:09 1646188 Link 0 |
How are these 'bans' implemented? Perhaps microchip the hat! Match organisers should note that it could take 5+ maors to prevent forced entry. To be fair to him, he never looked like hitting anyone but was clearly anxious to deliver a message. Pope_Benedict (Galway) - Posts: 3395 - 01/09/2014 16:25:01 1646203 Link 0 |
I know it's no laughing matter and it should never happen but how funny was it when the 5 stewards were trying to get him off the pitch hahahaha I'm lol thinking about it now. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 01/09/2014 16:27:54 1646207 Link 0 |
Without question he deserves a lengthy ban, his excuse was unacceptable as was his seemingly celebrity status afterwards in, surprise suprise.......Supermacs. That man gets no sympathy off me whatsoever and his actions bring shame on the GAA Richieq (Meath) - Posts: 3734 - 01/09/2014 16:30:36 1646213 Link 0 |

Did anyone see the Guard tossing the Mayo fan at the end? I think he was trying to approach the ref and Guarda just levelled him! Lockjaw (Donegal) - Posts: 9073 - 01/09/2014 16:40:36 1646225 Link 0 |
he can only be banned or dealt with by the GAA if he is a member of a club Baxter (Laois) - Posts: 282 - 01/09/2014 16:46:24 1646230 Link 0 |
Yeah seen that lockjaw he rightly fired him to the ground and there was another fan with a north face jacket on that was in the middle of the first melee anyone spot him? It just goes to show how much this game means to people that there willing to do things that I'm sure are way out of character, mind you the ref did have a shocker and I can understand the Mayo fans frustration but no place for attacking a ref no matter what. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 01/09/2014 16:48:38 1646234 Link 0 |
