Following Kerry's win yesterday, who was the last team in transition to make an All-Ireland final? legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7818 - 31/08/2014 12:50:15 1645127 Link 0 |
You'll have to define what "in transition" means first as Kerry have reached a final, a QF, and a SF in the 3 seasons up this. This is Fitzmaurice's second season in charge. McGuinness won an All-Ireland in his second season. James McCartan also got Down to a final with an unheralded group of players too. I think the "in transition" label is a bit ridiculous and this thread is a small bit pointless no offence. Former_Poster (Meath) - Posts: 394 - 31/08/2014 13:04:37 1645136 Link 0 |
Come on legend, this is a daft thread. Kerry have more important things to occupy themselves with and good luck in the final against the proud men from the Hills. Pericles (Mayo) - Posts: 2521 - 31/08/2014 17:18:09 1645281 Link 0 |
Kerry are only in the final because the TheGateKeeper (Tyrone) - Posts: 2843 - 31/08/2014 17:24:17 1645300 Link 0 |
@Pericles - I see what you mean but I am actually genuinely curious. I'm trying to gauge how a team in transition gets on in a final. I can't think of a situation to reference. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7818 - 31/08/2014 19:00:29 1645448 Link 0 |
