Referee on Sunday

(Oldest Posts First)

The referee will need to be strong on Sunday. I think Donegal will start a row to unsettle the Dubs. Umpires, linesmen and the ref will all need to keep their eyes peeled.

Handy i get your point about donegals win at all costs mentality' the aul ulster special of starting a row with a team you know you're not going to beat football wise but it'll take more than a few playground bullies to unsettle this dublin team!

Don't start the BS about the ref, Donegal play the game hard and fair,we didn't rise to Armaghs provocation so don't try smearing Donegal.
the ref will need to be strong, unlike 2011 when the officials gave every soft free to the Dubs and ignored the fact that 2 Dublin players took Karl Lacey out of the game, right in front of the linesman,
so shove your nonsense about Donegal tactics, just ref the game fair is all I ask,and don't succumb to the GAA hierarchy pressure to get the Dubs in the final at all costs as in 2011, mind you from the decisions and direction I see the GAA and Croke park hierarchy going in lately nothing would surprise me.
Stand up and play the game like men,if Dubin beat us fair and square I'll wish them well in the final,ye have 15 on the field and supposedly all the super subs on the bench, surely ye don't need biased officials on your side as well.
Tir Chonaill Abu, win lose or draw, this Donegal team and Jim Mc Guinness have been fantastic and have given us so may great days this last 4 years.
So do our beautiful county proud lads and we'll applaud ye of the field whatever happens. CMON DONEGAL!!!

Donegal weren't provoked by Armaghs 'tactics' hope it's a fair game 2moro and the ref doesn't give the dubs every soft free as in 2011.
if the game is refed fair I will have no complaints if we lose.
It's going to be very quite here on Monday, masive amount of humble pie on the way for the great and good of the GAA world.

What are you basing this theory on? I have been to very many gaa matches over the past 10 years and this would be a first.

Likewise, Dublin dont subscribe to this nonsense. There could be other teams out there that do it, but not dublin nor donegal.

The only thing the ref would want to be strong on is the time keeping. That is it.

Couldn't care less if you take it back ; that's some patronizing nonsense you's were presupposing was going to happen . Thankfully no supporters were on the pitch and very few rugby tackles just like we saw in Limerick . Internment without trial would be placed on Ulster sides if what happened in Limerick was in Ulster ! Pathetic .
