I have a feeling Tipp will win. Something tells me this Cork team isn't quite as good as people are making out, whereas Tipp have a lot of momentum going into this match. I could well be proven wrong but it's just a hunch. ballydalane (Kilkenny) - Posts: 1246 - 17/08/2014 15:30:23 1637876 Link 0 |
Tipp look a lot sharper in the opening fifteen minutes, especially their forwards. Callinan has Shane O' Neill in all sorts of trouble at full back and Pauric Maher is dominant at the back for Tipp. ballydalane (Kilkenny) - Posts: 1246 - 17/08/2014 15:47:13 1637880 Link 0 |
Cork are being beaten all ends up. Shocking by Cork. Hoover78 (Limerick) - Posts: 865 - 17/08/2014 15:54:19 1637886 Link 0 |
Really poor standard of hurling..I'm sur Cody will be happy with what he's seen so far!! Ref cud do with sharpening up a bit.. blacknamber (Kerry) - Posts: 267 - 17/08/2014 16:06:06 1637890 Link 0 |
strange game so far. Tipp by far the better team but only 2pts in it. Cork had some shocking wides. skillet (Limerick) - Posts: 1062 - 17/08/2014 16:06:54 1637891 Link 0 |
Have to say, the ref has given a few very, very harsh decisons against Tipp!!!!Each one punished by a Nash free. avonali (Dublin) - Posts: 1974 - 17/08/2014 16:08:34 1637895 Link 0 |
Ref has kept Cork in the game either through giving them soft frees or not giving Tipp fairly obvious frees. Cork's shooting has been abysmal. In the circumstances they'll be delighted to be only two down. ballydalane (Kilkenny) - Posts: 1246 - 17/08/2014 16:21:24 1637904 Link 0 |
exhibition by Tipp at this stage. Cork very disappointing. Winning Munster just doesn't seem to be tche option any more if you want to do it at semi final stage. skillet (Limerick) - Posts: 1062 - 17/08/2014 16:47:16 1637913 Link 0 |
No contest now, Tipp breezing past Cork. Not sure what's wrong with Cork, tiredness, over trained? Something is seriously wrong with them out there. No intensity, players on both teams can have 2 or 3 touches and still keep the ball. I'm sure Cody is enjoying this. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4896 - 17/08/2014 16:49:54 1637914 Link 0 |

The reality is this is corks level, they are not good enough to win an All Ireland. They are incapable of winning any high ball. They are being bullied out there, zero intensity from cork, if it was a boxing match ref would have stopped it by now. Kilkenny would have murdered them. freetaker1 (Limerick) - Posts: 754 - 17/08/2014 16:51:42 1637916 Link 0 |
I said I fancied Tipp before the match but I didn't envisage it would be this one-sided. As impressive as Tipp were I thought Cork were abysmal. Not just poor, abysmal. Really hard to fathom how they put in such a flat performance. ballydalane (Kilkenny) - Posts: 1246 - 17/08/2014 16:59:45 1637921 Link 0 |
The ref may have been Corks best performer ballydalane although he didnt seem to have as many clangers in the 2nd half Ban (Westmeath) - Posts: 1415 - 17/08/2014 17:01:37 1637922 Link 0 |
Cork just not good enough, a very beatable Clare team showed that last year. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8589 - 17/08/2014 17:11:21 1637923 Link 0 |
As bad a Cork performance as I've ever seen in Championship hurling. MesAmis (Dublin) - Posts: 13707 - 17/08/2014 17:12:43 1637924 Link 0 |
