OK, we've threads now on each of the provincial winners. Can any of the remaining qualifier counties cause an upset and win the All-Ireland? Which qualifier county at the very least will put up the best challenge? legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7755 - 28/07/2014 18:26:55 1627515 Link 0 |

Expecting a big performance from Galway next weekend. Wouldn't be surprised if they came through. Also expect Cork to make it very tough for us. MaigheoAbu (Mayo) - Posts: 343 - 28/07/2014 18:44:57 1627528 Link 0 |

Galway, Cork, Armagh, Meath, Kildare, Monaghan....No winner of the All-Ireland from this Group. jacktheDub (Dublin) - Posts: 944 - 28/07/2014 18:49:22 1627536 Link 0 |

I don't see any back door counties winning Sam, Monaghan and Cork would be your best bets if you had to choose but Galway, Meath, Armagh and Kildare are all on the road to nowhere. Htaem (Meath) - Posts: 8657 - 28/07/2014 19:05:13 1627555 Link 0 |
I wouldn't be surprised to see a qualifier team cause a shock in a quarter-final but none will win Sam. patk (Monaghan) - Posts: 936 - 28/07/2014 19:09:11 1627561 Link 0 |
As much as I see Mayo as favourites to make the All-Ireland final, they being the only provincial champion not to make the semi-finals can't be discounted either. The Munster runners-up will be looking for revenge for '11. You just never know. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7755 - 28/07/2014 19:10:08 1627562 Link 0 |
I don't see any of them winning Sam but Monaghan & Cork would look best placed to cause headlines. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 28/07/2014 19:23:03 1627575 Link 0 |

There is always a shock but the semi-finalists look to be the four champions Kerry, Mayo, Donegal and Dublin. Byanthon (Tyrone) - Posts: 1780 - 28/07/2014 19:52:47 1627603 Link 0 |
Knoxboyo Monghan. There you go. OLLIE (Louth) - Posts: 12224 - 28/07/2014 20:14:57 1627634 Link 0 |
I'd agree with the what's possibly the general consensus so far. Cork and Monaghan are possibly the two qualifier counties in a position to cause an upset. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7755 - 28/07/2014 21:56:15 1627734 Link 0 |
Meath to make semis. But thats it. Only one county to win it. Dublin. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 29/07/2014 08:45:44 1627741 Link 0 |
Cork are only qualifier county with a snowball's chance. Cork/Mayo will be interesting. If Cork were to win that the would give Kerry a rattle. hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 29/07/2014 08:59:35 1627749 Link 0 |
I wouldn't rule out Armagh giving Donegal a right rumble.. ziggy320001 (Meath) - Posts: 2432 - 29/07/2014 09:28:49 1627760 Link 0 |
Did ye all start following sport yesterday? Of course a qualifier county can win it, unlikely I agree but not beyond the bounds by any means. Its sport, shocks can and do happen. Condorman (Dublin) - Posts: 983 - 29/07/2014 11:16:14 1627813 Link 0 |
