do people think theres anyone else outside the usual fancied teams that might make an impact rhudson (Galway) - Posts: 1478 - 28/05/2014 17:38:34 1594822 Link 0 |
How big a price to be considered a dark horse. Donegal were 25/1 last week but now they must be considered a dark horse. They have the game if they play at full tilt to beat Dublin shaggykev (Donegal) - Posts: 187 - 28/05/2014 18:07:47 1594837 Link 0 |
I think Roscommon will go well in the qualifiers -don't think they are at Mayo's level just yet- as well as Monaghan whom I don't see retaining their Ulster title with Monaghan possible All-Ireland quarter finalists. lilywhite1 (Kildare) - Posts: 2989 - 28/05/2014 18:09:00 1594838 Link 0 |
I meant to add that I would reserve judgement on Galway for the moment. lilywhite1 (Kildare) - Posts: 2989 - 28/05/2014 18:15:53 1594842 Link 0 |

Dublin may get beaten this summer but it won't be by donegal or Cavan. Floops (Dublin) - Posts: 1623 - 28/05/2014 19:41:09 1594880 Link 0 |
Not really so long as they avoid each other the quarter finalists should be. Mr_Pundit (UK) - Posts: 677 - 28/05/2014 19:52:11 1594888 Link 0 |

i know a second fav cant be described as a dark dark horse but i think mayo will do it this year.the messing round in the league etc..i feel its all a smoke screen..remember they were btn a point last year after the concession of two "soft"( hewouldnt have got near the ball v a northern team or kerry) goals.aidan o shea having an off day, cillian o injured, andy moran not fit and the deployment or lack of same of keith higgins..if they get it tactically right and stay injury free thy will go v close.. kavvie (Clare) - Posts: 505 - 28/05/2014 19:54:06 1594892 Link 0 |
I would not go by the betting as over the years teams who impress in the first round usually come in in the betting. In Donegal 's case this week 14/1 from 25/1. If you think back two years ago Galway beat Roscommon (correct me if wrong) and of course P Spillane and Sunday game crowd tipped them as contenders for Sam Next game they were blew out of the water. So you won't really know till August( last8) Too dodgy to pick an outsider at this stage of the championship. SamOnErrigal (Donegal) - Posts: 1427 - 28/05/2014 19:55:41 1594893 Link 0 |

Donegal were champs 2 years ago so they can't be dark horses.Dublin, Cork, Kerry, Tyrone, Monaghan, Donegal are all teams I expect to do well. Condorman (Dublin) - Posts: 983 - 28/05/2014 20:09:07 1594900 Link 0 |
