If we can stop Lynch we will have a great chance in the League Final

I think an all-ireland select should play instead of Derry, that's the only way this Dublin team could be beaten. I actually think the current Dublin team is significantly better than Mick O'Dwyer's great Kerry team.

The first half performance by Dublin today must have gone unnoticed by some.

The fact that we Still have not yet fielded our strongest 15 is a bonus going forward.
This Dublin team will hopefully only get stronger as the season unfolds.

We shouldn't forget just how bad we were in the first half though.

The final I expected. Dublin are the team to beat. Derry have had a good league.

Some very wayward shooting in the first half

We had a lot of good ball but wasted it, time and time again

IMO it wasn't an 8pt game at half time

Take that 60 sec crazy spell for Cork out of that half... certainly the 2nd incredibly fortunate goal

I'm convinced Gavin said as much... we created a lot of scoring chances in the 1st half

We went out and converted them better in the 2nd

Felt confident that once we got the wind on our backs that we'd close that gap

But not for 1 min did I think we'd end up winning by 7

Think of our last 3 games... and what Dublin have done to get to this final

Outstanding.

A lot for Dublin to work on IMO. We had a great second half bit one of these days. A serious game against Derry is needed. Though Derry are some team to beat mayo in that fashion. Can't wait for the final!

Some serious character in that Dublin team, never say die attitude that will inevitably lead them to the two in a row. Lets face it boys and girls, the rest of us are going to be fighting for the scraps.

I would agree with you on that one Brendan. This year the Dubs will not be stopped, and with the age profile of their panel and the conveyor belt of talent at underage, I fear football could turn into a Kilkenny hurling scenario. They have remarkable fire power in that squad, who cares if you have a questionable full back line, just blow them away at the other end of the field.

Would love to see them up against a possession team with an ultra defensive blanket defence system. Even at that I still think they'd find ways to score.

Can't wait to see us hopefully play Donegal in the AI semi final and blow their defensive system away. The future is blue!!!

I think people are getting carried away with Dublin. I can guarantee nobody in Meath thinks they are unstoppable.

If Dublin are so good why were they annihilated in the first half? Dublin's comeback began with some nice luck with a ball coming off the post and falling into McAuley's hands. You can't train for that kind of luck.

Clondalkin

hold me hands up today! I shouldn't doubt these boys. I thought it was beyond them today when we were ten points down but I was wrong.

However the awful first 15 mins shouldn't be forgotten.

You need a bit of luck of with everything and the Dubs are still the team to beat come Summertime.
