Becoming a bit of habbit at this stage. needs to be dealt with in a satisfactory manner this time.

Time for the GAA to take a stance on this.

Its disgusting behaviour.

innocent until proven guilty. The last time around there was no proof. If however, anything is proven then appropriate disciplinary action should be taken.

Without a doubt Wayno.

I'm pointing more at the powers that be this time. The last times they didn't exactly cover themselves in glory.

Same stance again

If proven guilty then he has to be severely punished

This has to stop now. If there is evidence then the player should be given a very long ban.

But if there is none than the accuser must face a long ban. Can't go running to the papers accusing players of doing things of this magnitude without evidence.

Again?

Last year we were all made fool of by rushing to condemn someone before the investigation. Won't make the same mistake as last time, lengthy ban if it is true though.

Lads we all know the Donegal player was bitten last year. Not sure if it's well known but Philly McMahon bit Paul Kerrigan in the Dublin v Cork semi final 2010. Maybe you can tell me but was that incident dealt with back then?

If a player is alleged to have bitten someone then it surely should be brought to attention of referee at the time it happened. Ref would then persumably sent the player off. None of these thing shappened yesterday.

i very much doubt it was the player who "ran to the papers". And to ban a player due to lack of evidence is ridulous!

A year ban for anyone caught biting, simple as. That will cut it out.

Last year there was a crystal clear picture of a player (from one of the teams in question again) eye gouging another player (I posted a link to this but admin removed it for some reason). There was nothing done retrospectively on that occasion so I am questioning what constitutes proof.

Thats rubbish. And how does the ref ascertain who is telling the truth.

I can't see any player making this stuff up. Its happening but we all choose to turn a blind eye to it becuase thats the easy way out.

Very true. I remeber that incident.

It seems that even if there is evidence the powers that be don't want to deal with it either.

Maybe it's time to go the legal route. That might kick the GAA into action.
