I have just read on the Antrim website that one of the Hoganstand oul brigade sadly passed away yesterday. I was one of many who had verbal duels at different times with 'Patrique' but his ability to 'stir the pot', at times wit and the ability to apply facts and figures will be sadly missed. However, more importantly it was his love of Gaelic Games, Hurling, Antrim and St.Comgalls in no particular order that will be sadly missed. bumpernut (Antrim) - Posts: 1852 - 14/10/2011 16:19:45 1052050 Link 0 |

Very sad news indeed. I knew he was unwell, but had no idea how serious it was. A man who had strong views on just about everything and, unlike the rest of us, wasn't afraid to put his name to them. I always admired him for that. An intelligent and helpful man who will be sorely missed. Thomas Clarke (Tyrone) - Posts: 1002 - 14/10/2011 16:52:40 1052089 Link 0 |
