Has any other player won every All Ireland medal?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

At all levels i.e. minor, colleges, fitzgibon, under 21, senior?

I know Eoin Reid has one of each. (And also a feile). Not sure if anyone else has done this.

Has Sean Cavanagh?

Obviously Sigersons as opposed fitzgibbon. Im sure there would be a few tyrone ones.

No tryone club has won the all ireland so that rules them out.

I know Derryledd. The hardest medal seems to be the club, the colleges and the fitz/siegerson as many a fine player has missed out on one of those but got the rest.

I think I remember hearing somewhere that Kilkenny's Billy Fitzpatrick (1970's/80's) won every medal He possibly could have. I think this included an inter firms All Ireland medal with the company He worked for (Avonmore Creameries ?). Perhaps Pudders can enlighten us.

Billy Fitz won a load of inter firms with Avonmore. about 9 or 10. He won a colleges with Kierans (with Brian Cody) - maybe even 2. Won minor and 2 under 21s and 6 senior. He didn't go to college so missed out on a fitzgibbon but made up for it in the inter firm competition. But Avonmore benefited from a fairly strong team in those days...Billy Fitz was a wonderful hurler. I still don't know how he has so few all stars. He played on the Kilkenny team of the 70s which had always been my favourite team until the present one.

He played with Queens in 2000 so I'm fairly sure he would have got one then

Possibly some one of the Newtonshandrum crew? Some of the players from Birr/Offaly in the 90s, Johnny Pilkington or Brian Whelan maybe?

No footballers I would imagine. There is a wider spread of football winners at all levels, certainly in recent years at Minor, U-21 and club if not at senior.
