National - Joe Mc Quillan for football final

Replying To Weary:  "The interviews are from the team media night. The media outlets will choose to use them/release them when they see fit. Just something to be aware of over the next ten days. ; )"
In fairness to rochford he only answer questions.

Fact is these are regurgitated interviews from the media night which took place last Tuesday week. No interviews will be carried out since.

Replying To moc.dna:  "Awww, thank you pet, I hadn't you down as the religious type with your bless. Anyhow you won't even need God on your side as the Gaa will ensure the Juggernaut keeps rolling. The rest of the country just hope that Mayo will win but the odds & everything else are stacked against them. I stay far away from religion, too many sheep in everything nowadays."
The GAA and the rest of the country. I hate to tell you, the GAA with Dublin taken out are the rest of the country. So if the rest of country want Mayo win, the GAA being the same must also, right ?

Best thing that could possibly happen was having McQuillan appointed to ref it.
They will use it as motivation against the begrudgers who will make every excuse in the book. Fair play folks, you have played your part.Even if it's only a BITter part.

I think Joe gets a raw deal here as a referee, any suggestions of him being impartial because he refs Dublin A v Dublin B games is silly, he has previously shown he is impartial when it comes to big games involving Dublin.

Yes 2012, 2013 and 2015 worryingly all against Mayo. Can't see him been as poor as those 3.

I would have liked to see a Kerry referee, just to give Kerry some involvement in the senior game.

I think there is a Kerry lad running the line to be fair.
