Always said if there was a transfer market that man in his pomp would have been the first player Id have gone for. Sport is so cruel for the lucky few that get their fairytale send off, Alan Brogan, Brian O'Driscoll spring to mind, there are so many that end it in disappointment. Always said he was the best player to ever come out of Tyrone IMO. For a county that produced Peter Canavan, that is as high a praise as I can give the man.
