Sorry but how are the county boards guilty of any offence here? Are county boards expected to have a representative on every mode of transport? Every off licence? Every licensed premises? Every restaurant? If it happened inside a ground then perhaps but on a train? Catch yourself on. Ridiculous post and please stop trying to troll. If the admins have any common sense they would remove this thread. Out of curiosity how would a fine placed on a county board act as any sort of deterrent to a yob? 'I cause trouble and someone else pays the bill' Wise up. gotmilk (Fermanagh) - Posts: 4971 - 08/08/2017 12:42:18 2030944 Link 1 |

why? it wasn't any of the players and it wasn't on a designated bus/ train ran by the county board. the people in the videos should be caught and reprimanded. its them that are responsible, and i totally agree its disgraceful to see on a public form of transport to see people that scared

Oh deary me. GAA in Armagh and Tyrone have no responsibility over who buys rail tickets. Sure we don't even have a single train station in the whole county of Tyrone. Now that's something to complain about. OGarmaile (Tyrone) - Posts: 248 - 08/08/2017 13:10:44 2030983 Link 0 |

You either haven't got a clue what day it is or you are a complete sh1t stirrer. How do you make the connection between fining county boards because of some idiots on a train. Do tell. catch22 (USA) - Posts: 2148 - 08/08/2017 15:27:56 2031096 Link 0 |

What a load of nonsense. If the incident was serious enough the lads should have at least been taken of the train and either arrested or at least separated and sent on their way.Why you think county boards should be responsible for the poor behaviour of traveling fans is beyond me.People are responsible for themselves and their behaviour when they are out and about, not county boards.I regularly see posts on here about brawls breaking out at club games all over the country, you can't blame county boards anywhere for the poor behaviour of some people. The only thing I would say is that if it happens in gaa grounds then the instigators should get banned from coming to games if they can be identified.Outside gaa grounds such behaviour is the concern of the police. It is terrible behaviour and other travelling fans or people on the train should not have to deal with that type of thuggish behaviour.

Absolutely not, a few on a train in no mans land, how could either county be held responsible. This country allows the sale of alcohol but the difference between Ireland, England and the likes of France and Germany is, the Europeans like to have a drink, and we use it to get drunk. Of course there are exceptions, but our reputation for alcohol consumption is not based of quantity, as other countries consume far more, but what we do with it. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8571 - 08/08/2017 15:52:11 2031119 Link 2 |
do ye reckon I could rob a bank wearing a Tyrone jersey and the law will just get the county board to compensate the bank with whatever i make off with?
