Just an observation why can't they let the grass grow a bit more to stop lads slipping all the time it's so furious seeing lads slipping all the time,it's cut like a soccer pitch which there's no need for as 90% of the time the ball is off the ground

The pitch in Croker often gets a lot of praise as being perfect and it really should be with the amount they spend on it. However from observing as well as talking to a few that have player on it, it seems to deteriorate badly in wet conditions.

Perhaps the concerts and the relaying of part of it might be part of the problem but it does seem to cause problems in staying upright terms.
Bladed boots don't seem to be best under foot and a lot of players are using them nowadays.

I agree 100%. It looks great & in dry weather seems to be fine however a shower of rain & players are slipping all over the place.
