Three Connacht teams in the quarter finals. Great achievemt for the poorer relation of the GAA.

Three of them on the same side of the draw as Kerry. My money's on the Kingdom to progress to the final.

Munster had three teams in the quarters last year, Ulster had four teams in the quarters the year before. Leinster is more like the poor relation.

Poor relation?

Well perhaps in terms of socio-economics alright

But far from poor relation in GAA terms

That would be Leinster although Kilkenny and Dublin haven't done too badly over the last number of years

Fair play to Connacht so far but ultimately its national silverware that dictates the plaudits and there's a better chance of the small ball bringing home the bacon.

Absolultly credit were it's due, you couldn't say it's undeserved either.

Three different winner of the provincial in the last three years as well. Joins Ulster as a competitive provinve again.

Just Leinster and Munster not fit for purpose these days.

All that standing in the way of the revenge match is Kerry. It's Kerry v Galway and Roscommon v Mayo. The Galway v Roscommon or Mayo v Galway revenge match could still be on
