Played for Ireland in the international rules, should have won at least 3 munster medals and also won a few AIL rugby medals for Shannon playing on the wing. Eamon Wallace from Meath. not sure if he is still playing. he was a 100 or 200 metre sprinter I think in athletics and ran for Ireland. He was very fast, scored a great goal against Tyrone a few years back. I have seen many players who are extremely fast runners but you put an O'Neill's football in their hand and it takes them an hour to run the length of the pitch(sic). Ball flys up in the air, off their knees, elbow, head, arse. I would rather have a player who has the basic skills off soloing and bouncing the ball at pace than someone who is just a speed merchant.
