2017 Sack Race

So in football we have seen Offaly and Derry part ways with their managers pretty soon after their departure from the championship, who do you think will join them and who do you think will replace them? Has anyone else gone this year? I haven't been looking too closely due to ill health so go easy on me! Hurling people, feel free to join in!

At start of year Eamon Burns of Down was a cert to not last the season, but staying up in div 2 and beating neighbours Armagh has given himself and the squad a huge boost onwards and upwards,

Doesn't matter if they get sacked or not they just go and get s job in another county.
It's a merry go around like the premiership.
How a manager can stand on the sideline plotting to beat his native county in either code beats me. All the so called expenses in the world wouldn't entice me to do it.

Rochford when Mayo are eventually put out of there misery.
Cunningham in Dublin. Carew in Sligo could go as well.

Who ever loses between Armagh V Westmeath will be gone by the end of the following week.

If Clare turn over Mayo Rochford will surely get the boot

Were you thinking that at the same stage last year? Were you thinking the same thing during both the final and replay? Who's to say rochford doesn't put Dublin out of their misery?

He could be under pressure alright. The next few weeks will tell a lot a hammering Sunday and losing a R4 qualifier it's hard see him stay on there will be a lot of lads out for him.

No more so than Andy in Meath year one has been a disaster so far for him and they seem to have gone back since last few years and losing to Donegal at the weekend he could be under pressure too

No actually this is our best year in awhile, didn't win qualifiers in 5 years already done that, 3 in division 2, last year just barely stayed up. Andy has done a very good job in year one , so far.

Love this post. We saw Limerick men on the sideline with Clare in 2013 and one of them now in Wexford. All the Barry's tea in Cork, all the tin foil in Tipp, all the chippers in Clare, nothing would make me want to plot Limerick's downfall. It nearly killed Eamon Cregan in 1994 to see his beloved Green & White defeated. I'd rather go into premier league bullfighting with no experience than to take on my native county.

Still no progress and have reverted to playing 14 men behind the ball in comparison to the 12 under O'Dowd but sure if hes doing enough keep you happy thats all that counts.
I work with quite a few Meath lads a few dire hard supporters and they have said what they have witnessed in the last few weeks is the worst they can remember. At least they played some decent football in last few years even if they did bottle some massive leads

Now just because it was too high brow for you there is no need to react like that to the man.

Regarding managers, I notice a lot of the ladies teams are managed by men but I don't see any male county team managed by a woman. Raging disparity here!
