If this is true it would surely of had a major impact on these players before togging out for ulster senior championship semi final. Should player welfare of being used here and the players not of started the game? mrsme (USA) - Posts: 172 - 26/06/2017 16:55:11 2005889 Link 0 |
It mustn't have been that bad if they were all able to play. Donegalman (None) - Posts: 3830 - 26/06/2017 17:05:59 2005896 Link 0 |
Might explain Drew's performance to some extent. The lad is one of the best full backs in the country and was poor by his standard on Saturday. Having said that - it must not have been that bad and knowing the lads involved they wont be using it as an excuse. bigfrankt (Monaghan) - Posts: 123 - 26/06/2017 17:11:33 2005899 Link 0 |
The first I have heard about it so I assume it was not that bad. Nobody badly injured so play on. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11219 - 26/06/2017 17:14:37 2005903 Link 0 |

Sounds like it could've been worse but obviously still going to be shaken up there. MedwayIrish (Wexford) - Posts: 2324 - 26/06/2017 22:46:51 2006086 Link 0 |

Was in a car accident a few years ago where a fella drove into me on a roundabout. He didn't drive into me at a high speed and there was no injuries but I was still shook. Can't imagine any of those boys were in the right frame of mind to play a game after it. gotmilk (Fermanagh) - Posts: 4971 - 26/06/2017 23:47:58 2006108 Link 0 |
