Dublin beat Donegal playing with only 14 for most of the 2nd half of last year's All Ireland QF.

Dublin also beat Donegal in 2011 Semi-Final with 14 players. It was only for the last 12/13 mins I think though.

1992 Ulster final

Derry were league champions, hot favourites and two points up at half-time (0-08 V 0-06) when John Cunningham got sent off controversially on the stroke.

Donegal rallied to win by 2 themselves (0-14 v 1-9) in one of the best halves of football ever produced by a Donegal team

It was the game that turned them into All Ireland Champions

2004 Ulster semi-final, Donegal v Tyrone

Niall McCready was sent off after 30mins against the reigning All Ireland champions in Clones with the score 3-2 in favour of Tyrone but Donegal prevailed on a fine scoreline of 1-11 to 0-9.

13 men i think, the other 2 were in injury time though, O'Gara straight red and Fenton black card with no subs left to come on

July 1997 Kildare played over an hour of the game with 13 men in a leinster championship game against laois in Croke Park. Laois had a man sent off in the dying minutes. Kildare won by 4 points.

Not only that but the two sent off were 2 of our main scoring threats and we didn't have too many of them at the time.

Connolly got a red after about 40 mins, then O'Gara got a red towards the end, and Fenton was black carded with no subs left so Dublin ended with 12 players.

There were only 12 players for about a minute I'd say. Dublin's goal to seal the win was scored with 13 players v 15 though.

When management use their heads then in football it's fairly common for 14 men to beat 15, but in hurling it's extremely difficult, it had happened but not very often, now I'm not going to comment on 16 beating 15 or 14 or 13 or at times 18 beating 15 but yes you can guess what that means and I'm not talking about the water boy or runners on the pitch

Connolly was sent off on the 48th minute, O'Gara and Fenton in injury time.
