Very strange that TG4 are not showing the Christy Ring final on Saturday. They only have it online on tg4.ie.
The last few years I think they showed all 3 hurling finals from Croke Park.

You're right Galway and mayo are on this Sunday, I thought it was the weekend after.

There is a great weekend of sports ahead.

I know. Have always been a fan of TG4's GAA coverage. Baffling that they are choosing to show re runs of the Weakest link and the Waltons instead of the games.

Galway v Mayo at 4pm, Ireland soccer game at 5 so yes there will be an overlap. Great to see it is not effecting the attendance for the big game in Salthill.

Just read its because its on at same time as cork v tipp on rte, seems like its gaa to blame rather than tg4

Strange to not show the rackard and Meagher finals on tv all the same, as there is no conflict with them

Thats ridiculous!! A chance to give weaker counties some exposure missed , i know for sure Leitrim hurlers were never on tv before. Shows how much they care about the weaker hurling counties.

completely agree, the 3 finals are usually all decent enough to watch into the bargain.

Maybe there is more to it as tg4 at least make an effort to cover it.

Could be worse though, sure the bbc and utv completely ignore hurling altogether, even though there are 3 ulster teams competing on saturday
