This is getting good!!!

(Horan has inadvertently dragged the AOS story out even more and this serves no one except his own column and the editory of the Star Newspaper. It certainly doesnt help AOS. Well done James Horan. Now who's the t*t)

They can both put out full page articles slagging each other. I would still put Flynn being the bigger tit of the two for joining in on the O'shea bashing. Don't forget to buy fergal connellys book ya know now we know who he is mans got to get paid his paper!

anyone that is involved with teams know how team dynamics work. I cannot believe Horan tried to defend this and for me if he was one of my team mates it would have been sorted out by the players. Flynn is 100% correct

In fairness id agree, Horan was sticking up and giving a voice to a player who cant speak up for themselves in these situations.. Flynn made a tool of himself to get an airing for his column inches, now he cant let it go.. Pity because i used to respect his views, now like Brolly hes just another clown in the circus..

Flynn is very sensitive, he feels its acceptable to personally lay the blame for Mayo not winning an all Ireland at the feet of AOS yet when someone makes personal comments about him he is highly insulted.

He really is making a fool of himself the past few weeks.

JH should have let flynn have his say and then trust AOS to do his talking on the pitch instead of using his star column and his radio bit to retaliate and then by association, drag the story out even more
Do you think AOS is benefiting from this or will it serve to undemine him even more
The story would be forgotten at this stage if Horan had left it alone ffs
He needs to just shut up now

They are both trying to sell newspapers. We're the t**s for paying any heed to them!

I like both i have to say but BF is a bit thin skinned. For someone to say u made a tit or an ejit of yourself with those comments is not exactly a personal attack.

It would be more personal if he said BF is a tit or an ejit. slight difference but he was referencing the comments.

Is this a wind up between the two of them?

This paragraph is hilarious:

'"Anyone who knows me well knows I'm neither of the above but for a former inter-county manager to call a former player a tit is quite pathetic. Sad man"

Tit's come in pairs and thier is a pair of them in it!

I like Horan, he tends to call it as he sees it, although this isn't always the best thing for Mayo football (as when he called out the Galway footballers before their Connacht championship match with Mayo last year). We could possibly do with some of our pundits keeping to the party line as those from Dublin and Kerry do, although this would be a lot less entertaining for neutrals.

It is unseemly for him to be using such language over the national airwaves though, best let this little spat die here, now that Flynn's had his spake.

Flynn knows how to go about to win an All Ireland.
Unfortunately Horan and O Shea do not.

Nice to see some good aul fashioned sledging between analysts, even though the sledging is as bad as some on this forum!!

This is ridiculous. perhaps Horan's words were slightly ill advised but i certainly think he had a right to defend O' Shea. what was said about him last week (and indeed the last 6-7 months) has bordered on cyber bullying. Flynn could have got his point across without mentioning O' Shea's name at all. that would have prevented this whirlwind. I don't know anything about Aidan O' Shea but i'm well aware of the rumours. but i'm sure it is upsetting for him. in fairness as Horan said, he does seem to leave a lot of time for young children, which i can only see as been a great attribute. But then to put the tin hat on it Flynn responds to Horan acting aggrieved and offended. Why could a grown man not just leave it, let it go!!!

Still James horse didn't need to say he was making a tit of himself he could have worded it differently

Ya, sure a pair of ti*s will always sell newspapers I suppose !
Flynn loves listening to himself I'd say and Horan is just doing the usual as happens and returning fire.

In fairness if Bernard Flynn doesn't want people going around and saying that something he said made him sound like an eejit then there is an easy enough solution.

To be fair I did see Bernard supporting Louth the other day and depending on the angle you looked at him you could see where Horan was coming from.
