When Aidan o Shea first started with Mayo I thought he wasn't a good footballer. But then I became his biggest fan, he was an absolute beast there for about 3 years. Recently I think I may have been right the first time. Also on the question of Davy, I still think he's a lunatic. He will never convince the hurling purists like myself, for the simple fact that what Wexford played last week wasn't hurling.

Yeah, absolutely.

I'd be one of those people who takes on a different personality once I cross the white line, and too often get involved arguing the toss with opposition players, mentors or the refs. I'd usually apologise or take to make peace after the fact, but it's something that bothers me tbh.

As for HS threads, I would occasionally stray over the line too. I called Clondalkin a fool once, which I would apologise for.

I did think that we'd get over the line with the current Mayo side, but it seems less and less likely with each missed opportunity.

I couldn't see Galway beating Meath in the 2001 All Ireland football final. I was younger and more impressionable and let Meath's semi final hammering of Kerry totally effect my thinking. I also really under rated Padraig Joyce as a player and had that fallacy shown up that day too.
