Down been much the better so far, could've been 4-5 points ahead at half time only they slacked off coming up to half time. Dublin at the same time have missed alot of chances.

Very encouraging from our younger players, Cooper is some find, Mannion excellent, if a little greedy. If Brogan was playing I think we could have had 4 or 5 goals.

But the main thing is, Dublin are using the league to blood these guys, win lose or draw, we are finding out who we want. If the wins keep coming, well and good.

At this time of year, County teams are at diff levels of fitness, come August we will get a true reflection who will rise to the top. If the Dubs can get AB and BB on their team they will be champs, likewise with Donegal. Cork have already lost C O Neill who is their best footballer and is a massive blow. I feel Kerry can reach a Sfinal this year, only then will I make judgement on this Kerry team. Roll on the summer.

I find it funny on here when a Dublin player throws a dig or dirty tackles an opponent there's up roar with all the ABD on Hoganstand , you all go mad yet when it's the other way round not a word. Kevin O Brien took a full force punch in the face last night off a Down player for some reason the Down player only got a yellow???? Yet not one word about it from any of you today. Trust me if it was the other way round you'd all be on having your say about how dirty and disgraceful the Dubs are.

I didn't see the incident. But if your correct and Connaire Harrison did punch the Dublin player than no doubt it should've been a straight red. The umpires must've been daydreaming as usual?
