A waste ground like parnell park? We played Mayo in an allireland semifinal in limerick in 2014 and the atmosphere was 100% better than Croker, bigger venue doesn't always equate to better.

The atmosphere is always better when you win.

We didn't know we had won till the end of the game lily I'm talking about during the game, and yes winning was excellent but the place was at boiling point for the whole game you could feel the tention through out.

Croker doesn't have that and wait till it only half full itll be even worse, although I'm glad they're going seating the hill.

Imagine been handed all that money and not doing like other counties and spend the millions on Elite Centre of Excellences focused on county teams but instead spending it on dirving participation at underage level.

Doubling hurling participation and upping football participation by 50%, stupid waste of money by the Dubs.

No one in Kerry obviously reads the GAA accounts, what Kerry got of the GAA this year is outrageous given the size and population of the county.

Kerry currently being financially doped out of their eyeballs in receipt of 1.254 million from the GAA - before Munster council funding and a population of 147k.

Second to Dublin 2.1 million but with Dublin population at 1.38 mill.

I wouldn't be to pushed as a Dub, but its counties of the same profile they are competing against like Donegal, Mayo, Tyrone, Galway on significantly less etc - where they are being bloated and enabled to "compete" with Dublin artificially, such as that is.

Accounts are here: https://www.gaa.ie/news/gaa-invest-18m-in-grassroots-in-2019/

To be fair the Neller is chariming little "kip" - love it, youd love to get a hold of a few counties in there, talk about breathing down the back of players necks. was a bear pit last year for the hurlers. The footballers dont use it enough to their advantage, but then it would never meet demand and really we dont need the advantage.

Its a waste ground, zero space around pitch. Dublin GAA wanted to build 30k stadium at Spawell, GAA HQ had a heart attack. The problem for Kerry folk is they dont know the hand (outs) that feed them.

Did Kerry GAA not build a Centre of Excellence last year that would contribute greatly to the funding?
A comparison of 2018 and 2019 funding would be eye opening.

Would it be an advantage tho?

Sure it might be an advantage for a one-off Leinster game, but Dublin are most likely going to win that anyway.

Any advantage would be offset by Dublin players, particularly new panel members, not getting to play in Croker for the first time until the Super 8 neutral game (or a 1/4 final if format reverts).

No Kingdomboy, no capital grants were given to Kerry last in 2019. You need to read the accounts.

Though 13 million was given by the ISC and Munster & GAA in the preceding financial years, inclusive of additional GAA and Munster allocations for Currans COE and the Sports Campus in Tralee.

Ah multiple username your so predictable with your deflection and propaganda.

Unlike you Im not so insecure as to need to create multiple accounts to agree with myself, if I have something to say I say it come what may.

Another thing, I have 11,000 posts on hs and I challenge you to find 1 of my posts where I posted a link to anything, il save you a bit of time coz you won't find 1, for the simple fact being I'm unable to post links, lads on the kerry page have asked to post links in the past and I was unable to do so.

Happy fishing/deflecting.

You're not even unbeaten in 2020...Should have been beaten by Monaghan as well but for some dodgy timekeeping from the ref.
