Did he play in goal for Wexford, he made a great save from the late Christy Ring in the 1956 All Ireland Final?. Ring went in and shook his hand afterwards. A legend of the games, may he rest in peace. Wexford won that final, and chaired Ring off the field after the game. Those were different times.
