8th/9th best club team in a county as strong as Kerry gotta be heavy favourites for me.

Plus Templenoe really look strong."
That's exactly what I said but as we all hope that a spanner may be thrown into the works and I think Mattock Rangers May be that team. They were the last Louth Club to reach a Leinster Senior Final. Good pedigree there.

I know I did it for the laugh to see if anyone would notice. It is very bad form out of them.

Replying To MillerX:  "Templenoe of Kerry will be strong favourites for the Intermediate Football. However do not be surprised if Mattock Rangers from Louth end up as Champions, great club, great team, great football people around Collon."
Well said MillerX. Collon is unique that their parish spreads into County Meath so along the border you would have people that would support Meath and Mattock would be their local club. They had some team between 2000 to 2010. They won their first ever Senior Championship in 2002 and went all the way to the Leinster final in their maiden season only to be beaten by Meath's great Dunshaughlin team. They reached six finals between 2001 and 2010 and won four of these. The reids are still doing the business for Mattock. It's great to see them back senior after four years in Inter.

Ballyhale, Thomas' and Ballygunner look like the teams to beat in the club championship

Do people know that Templenoe have 4 members of the Kerrry senior team
Adrian Spillane Killian Spillane Tadgh Morley and Gavin Crowley
That's unreal talent for a intermediate team to have
Many Kerry senior club teams would not have that many lads on the county team

Only thing is that they are very light when it comes to panel as the area doesn't even have a national school. They also have serious players like Stephen O'Sullivan (Kerry minor & junior) and Brian Crowley (Gavins brother and a good wing forward). They had to forfeit county league games this year due to missing the kerry contingent as far as I know. Great to see a club like that where they are.

I didn't know that to be fair, I knew of the Spillanes but not Morley and Crowley. I would have taken Kerry champions anyway for intermediate but definitely would now. If im not mistaken it was a Kerry team that won intermediate last year wasn't it? They gave a good hiding in the final to a strong St Endas team of Antrim who had been playing div 1 all year. I think they must have won by double digits which is some win for an AI final
