Kerry V Dublin

Kerry left that behind them. Stopped attacking at the end, should of pushed on. Missed alot too. Dublin done well to break up their attack and momentum time and again with 14 men

Replying To Htaem:  "Great game, well done to both teams, huge chance blown by Kerry though, missed 3 goal chances in the first half and Dublin down to 14 for over half the game."
Yeah can't see it been as close next time.

David Gough had an appalling game. Refs should have repercussions for poor performance. The level of inconsistency was terrible. Onr major incident was How was Tom o Sullivan left on the field when cooper walked.

Gough had a mare of a game ,fair play to Kerry as well tho Sean o shea some player"
Think that's unfair.

Gough was good but bottled the kerry sending off.

I like David Gough. Unfortunately he had a disproportionate effect on the game in Kerry's favour. Tommy Walsh had a huge impact.

I would love Mayo to get the rub of the green that Kerry got today. I guess the Gold hoop carry's more fortune than the Red. Gough terrible.

the amount of kerry diving was unbelievable....awful stuff...going down yelling for frees when they weren't even touched...jack barry should be ashamed...did it on the sideline and then got up and ran on

Sean o shea was motm for me. (Possibly mccaffrey) Delighted that rock missed mainly because I would've hated for kerry to lose because of a silly tackle from a young lad who was having an outstanding game

Replying To sam1884:  "Kerry's tradition means they simply have to win this final. I've a feeling they'll somehow find a way to stop the 5 in a row. Expect to see the most passionate Kerry performance in a generation with players like Walsh and Moran in particular playing the games of their career mixed with other forwards that will click on the day. Forget everything Kerry have done this year - this won't have been a three week plan the new management team will have been working on Dublin since before Christmas. Kerry to win this by 2 points in one of the best Croke Park performances we've witnessed in a number of years."
Not many people called how close this game would be. I was correct Kerry's tradition resulted in a performance that surprised the whole country. They had the gameplan, fitness, intensity, tackling, pride in their county jersey and tradition to stop the 5 in a row. Forget all this nonsense that Dublin will dominate for years to come - Kerry are truly back to compete with Dublin over the next few years. The only thing that went slightly wrong today was Kerry's percentage of chances taken. I don't believe it was the sending off that got Kerry so close; as Kerry were so good before that. The disappointment for Kerry is the element of surprise is now gone; Dublin have two weeks to regroup. Kerry should have stopped the 5 but I believe they left it behind them and will be gutted when they look back at this match. They'll know they can now compete with Dublin but for me the Dubs will now complete the 5. The best thing for football is Dublin now have a rival.

Kerry left it behind them through poor decision making -particularly carrying the ball into the tackle when they had the extra man. Ref denied them a clear penalty in the second half. Cooper could have picked up his second yellow card much earlier in the first half. Apart from Jack McCaffrey there wasn't anybody putting up their hand for POTY

Absolute nonsense Stephen o brien denied a clear penalty in the 2nd half and the penalty that was given should have been retaken. Kerry should have won the game by 5 or 6 points realistically

Absolutely it did but the Dublin brigade did the same few years back against mayo and Lee Keegan and that worked aswell so they got a bit of their own medicene in that regard

Yet again one of the main talking points of a match refed by Gough is Gough... He is so inconsistent.

Cooper got a tick for foul on the penalty and then 2 yellows for the other two fouls,Osullivan got a yellow for one foul and a tick for the second....seems fair to me but Kerry had their chance and didn't avail of it.Cooper can play in the replay!

Soft penalty, inconsistent on the booking of backs on a yellow. Cooper's second didn't look a yellow.

That was outside and he should have been suspended.

I expect Connolly to start in the replay and Brogan to be back in the 26, Kerry will feel they should have won today, Dublin will be glad to get another chance, that tells the story.
