People in South Donegal won't support a Sligo-Leitrim team.

you just killed off the Galway hurling team team but you could kick start a Connacht hurling championship this way, might be good in the long run.

If a club has one code, hurling for example, a player can play football for another club.

Possibly in Kilkenny's current football state, a Kilkenny footballer should be allowed play for a neighbouring county.

I'm not suggesting a merger for hurling. Just that kilkenny players play with carlow under their banner.
