New Leinster Football Championship 2020

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

When the Leinster Hurling Championship was knockout, the provincial champions received a bye to the semi-finals. Should the Leinster Football Championship make that change?

When Dublin play in a Leinster final, they are the home team. It is what it is. Dublin's first Leinster game in the following year after they've had a home Leinster final, their next Leinster game be it a quarter-final or semi-final, should be played in their opponents home ground or choice of venue of suitable capacity.

2020 Example:
Dublin had a home Leinster final in 2019. My suggestion is to give them a bye to the 2020 Leinster semi-finals. If they were to meet Laois for example in the semi-finals, bring the game to Portlaoise. It offers some balance between Dublin's number of home and away games.

I know that since I was 5, but felt it too obvious to mention :)

Dublin win it by an average of score of about 18 points.

Sounds good to me."
It's about as good as the AI. End result Dublin win.

If they do this with leinster I'll save my money and not attend. What's the point in a load of extra matches just for Dublin to win anyway.

Dublin's winning margins in Leinster this year:
Louth - 26 points
Kildare - 15 points
Meath - 16 points
Add to that only twice in the last 6 years have Dublin won a game in Leinster by less than 10 points. Come up with all the systems and additional games you like but the end goal will be the same. The Leinster championship is dead.

Our province murdered by another province. But sure look the actual counties just have to get their house in order.

Good. And can you and your Dublin is a province friends do the same. Stick to the club game or find another sport all together cause all this crybaby nonsense is really pathetic and infecting every football thread on the site
