Where's the problem? There's often football and hurling on the same day.

It's crazy the amount of fixtures clashing with each other these days . Leinster and munster hurling final on last Sunday the one day .
It's seems a case of cramming the season into as few weeks as possible . Every other sport is maximizing their games , we can't get them out of the way quick enough !!

Games should be on different dates but there is a huge problem with football dates the likes of Tyrone and Mayo have to play 5 games in 5 weeks if the qualify for the super 8s, this is tough on players but equally as difficult for supporters, how can you drop everything or miss work for 5 weekends in a row, there should have been a free weekend after round 2 or 3 of qualifiers and again after every round in super 8s
