Hi all Just though I get the ball rolling on this subject The various u20 league groups have got under way Galway and Kerry going well in john kerins group Interesting to see paraic joyce and john divilly involved with galway Playing a positive brand of football which is to be expected Darragh silke fron corofin is one to watch out for very talented forward Thers been mixed reaction to the u20 grade The the fixing of the championship during the middle of summer Which clashes with the senior championship of course The fact too that lads are doing the leaving cert now at 18 or 19 This has seen a lot of lads in different countys not being avaible for the u20

I think it's a good thing that both senior county players and those doing leaving cert can't be involved.
This is a developmental grade. It's about bridging the gap between school leavers and adult seniors. Hopefully it means fewer are lost to the game.
If we're to improve the problem of the training to games ratio across the association, then there has to be the attitude that not every eligible player will be available to all teams.
