Just setting up a thread where the Limerick and Wexford posters can lock horns in peace.

It's a pretty common pattern, some of the limerick folk talk about themselves like they've a decade of dominance behind them akin to kilkenny 2006-2015, we remind them they've 1 all ireland in 46 years.

This to be fair is only a small section of the limerick posters

Before a limerick poster repiles with 'well what have wexford won?' Simple enough you don't ever see us every gloating on here.

Why not set one up just for the Tipp lads so they can lock horns with each other.....oh forgot, they do that on match days

That thread is already up and running. Pathetic behaviour by a bunch of young idiots who can't handle the drink.

Burn :)

Also, I actually like Wexford and would like if they (or Waterford) won the All-Ireland if Limerick didn't.
Does that mean I can't be a Limerick supporter anymore now??

Twas you said it, but time has moved on. The last span of the bridge was put in place on a certain August Sunday last year

I have nothing but respect for Limerick hurling and believe it or not it's supporters.
We both care passionately about hurling, particularly where our own county are concerned.
We both seldom win major competitions and for periods are not particularly successful.
Don't worry this is not a love in.
Any shite knocking Wexford hurling and I will always bite back.....woof woof woof

I think unfortunately that two can, and sometimes fell almost compelled to, play that game. Anyway I always hope that if Limerick do not win something I'd always be hoping some one of the other lesser counties, that is as opposed to Tipp, Cork or Kilkenny, would win it. I would especially love to see Waterford win the McCarthy Cup. I know a lot of Waterford Hurling people and they are so passionate about the game. . I would always admire the dignity shown by the Waterford County Board, and John Mullane in particular, in not appealing his suspension prior to the 2004 All Ireland Semi Final.

I doubt there is a genuine hurling supporter who would not wish Waterford a Liam.

Although the Waterford team came close to an all ireland in 2017, the Waterford team of the 00's I feel really should have won an all ireland. Players like John Mullane, Dan The Man, Eoin Kelly, Ken McGrath, Tony Browne, Paul Flynn etc... some of the best players to ever play the game, easily Waterfords greatest ever team. And easily my favourite team ever outside the Dubs. Some of them games in the 00's with Cork were legendary! The 2004 Munster Final between the two teams arguably the greatest game of hurling I've seen!!
