I don't think you fully grasp how HS works.

None of us really has a clue about anything, we're just shooting the breeze, trying to get the odd rise out of each other & having a bit of fun while we're doing it.

I was just trying to give an idea why he doesn't jump around on side line. You took what AI said in a strangle manner but you read what you want to read I guess.

His career and previous armed forces experience explains a lot about his approach to being a manager and his handling of the team. He's been criticized for not jumping around.. why can't he be praised in equal measure?

You're absolutely right he's just a man but an exceptional one that has achieved a great deal.

Saw him earlier on in Smithfield, there was a crowd of about 300 hungry Luas goers and only five pieces of avocado on toast, somehow everyone got a slice. ;)

There are still some poor people in the city who dont have meals delivered to them, lest we forget.

Perhaps have a look at the true poverty & homelessness next time.

you might have misunderstood the tone of that post. No insensitivity was intended there.

No. I see Bernard has made the bench though. Would love to see him getting some game time.

He's probably not involved today but just cause he's not named on the team or subs bench doesn't mean anything with Jim. Hopefully we hear at 6.40 from the Kerry announcer that's theres a change to the Dublin team number 26 Diarmuid Connolly replaces ...........

Never forget the moment Lowndes, I think, came on and everyone thought it was Dermo returning from
Suspension. Roof lifted off the place for Lowndesy. Gas. Berno would get some reception as well today if he crossed the white line. Two legends.

I don't think last nights much improved Dublin performance is coincidental with Connolly's return.

He is one of those rare characters whose presence alone, in the dressing room & on the training ground, improves all those round him & that is why Jim Gavin wanted him back.

Murph has the same effect in Donegal & Roy Keane, love him or loathe him, had the same thing going.

It's a blessing for any team that has someone like that in their squad & Dublin are lucky to have him.

10,000 dubs fans nearly lifted the roof of crokepark?

Anyone thinks Connelly is going to be involved in game time could be getting disappointed.
Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he wasn't seen this year.

We've just passed portlaois on the way to Kerry game so well awake bud, some of us have to travel to games you know.

And there were only 35,000 supporters in crokepark yesterday so on average that would mean about 10,000 dubs fans.

And you recon they nearly lifted the roof?
