Enjoy your retirement Paul , I'm sad to see you retire at such a young age, you've done your county proud.

Enjoy the retirement. They seem to be retiring younger these days. But I guess that's the modern game. All the best.

Again best of luck to paul Flynn in his retirement, plenty of space now for Mr Connolly to make his come back."
He won't be making a comeback..... in a spot of bother again sure.....Gavin won't be interested in the distraction he brings. Talented on football pitch , headcase with a few jars

I'd say it must be the second bests record in the country after Down."
We are very proud lol

A great player indeed. Best of luck in retirement.
Probably at his peak 5/6 years ago.

I imagine there are several more high profile retirements to come in the near future

Great player. In his pomp a few years back he was a far greater influence than Connolly was. Big game player.

One of the most overrated players of recent times.

Agreed. I think most if not all of the following will be gone after this season.

Berno
O'Gara
Kev Mc
Darren Daly
MDMA

On paper they read as some very big names but the reality is they have essentially been replaced in the starting fifteen already so I'm not sure the impact will be as big as some fear. Of course they are experienced heads to have around the squad and have made an impact of the bench in recent times but I trust Gavin will have new fellas identified to come in and take up the mantle.

Potentials could be O'Sullivan and Philly McMahon both of which look to have lost a yard of pace the last year or so and if we did the five in a row it would be a nice note to bow out on.

The obvious elder statesman is Cluxton but I feel he could go on till he's 40 if he wants! Hopefully he does as he would be easily the biggest impact on the squad were he to retire.

Their impact and experience from the bench is vital in big games. They may not start many games that's true, but they'll be a huge loss to the panel when they go, and theres every chance that the bench is weaker and therefore our squad.
