young mans game now to be intercounty ref. the fitness levels required are mental to make championship panel never mind national. Best of luck to all the refs in the football and hurling championships i hope its a great year for them as it takes huge dedication to make it that far mrme (USA) - Posts: 22 - 26/04/2019 19:40:09 2180474 Link 0 |

Yes, hopefully no Dublin based referees will be adjudicating on Dublin games in 2019. Aibrean (Kerry) - Posts: 263 - 28/04/2019 14:42:42 2180654 Link 1 |
Oh just to be sure bud. As if all the population money and home advantage wasn't enough, the GAA are going to get a massive return on their Dublin investment this year I'd say. KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 28/04/2019 15:04:35 2180662 Link 0 |
God be with the days when a county won an All-Ireland instead of buying one or 5 :D

It would never happen full stop, now would it ever happen that we or anyother county would be allowed to play all our games at home.

Read about his story on here at the weekend http://hoganstand.com/Article/Index/298460 Not nice to hear and shame to see his career end like that.

Ye should have a referendum in Kerry and apply for Kerxit. Sure we'd fill a bit guilty if we ever won the Sam without ye competing but every little helps!

Also Mr deegan. There are good referees in the Dublin Club scene and better again on the Sigerson scene. Yet it seems unthinkable that they would be brought in to replace guys who played stinkers or who were good but now past sell by date. Obviously merit counts for little Ashrules (Dublin) - Posts: 518 - 29/04/2019 13:39:36 2180816 Link 0 |
the best referees are always either on the ditch or on twitter. perfect10 (Wexford) - Posts: 3929 - 30/04/2019 18:52:57 2181117 Link 1 |
