Replying To lilylanger:  "Yes!!!"
I've checked everywhere and not one source has Louth winning in 10. It all says Meath like it will in 2019.

Replying To Htaem:  "Ah sure look, possession is 9 tenths of the law, rumour has it big Joe is back training for the Leinster final :-)"
The rumours going around the Bull last night Htaem is that Joe is training with the Irish rugby team. I suppose there is a bit of truth in every rumour.

Ah but I did not see the great Paddy Keenan lifting the Delaney cup in the Hoganstand. When I do I will stop dreaming. An Lu Abu!

Kildare to beat Wicklow, Meath to account for Offaly and probably the hardest to predict, but I will go for an away win for Louth against Wexford.

Meath to cover the handicap v Offaly same with Kildare v Wicklow. And I think Louth who were unlucky not to get promotion will account for Wexford. No shocks yet.

We wont be taking any team for granted that is for sure . Jealousy is a terrible thing ,2nd biggest populated county in Leinster , 2 Leinster titles in over 60 years mostly because half of them were from other counties and you have a pop at other counties. . Obsessed...

Kildare are probably the 1 county in Leinster that when you look at their resources population club football etc, should be ashamed of themselves, in a football sense......their record is that of a minnow yet they go on, and in fairness it's media lead, that they are some kind of sleeping giant that are going through a lull period..... I suppose 100 odd years is a lull period to beat all lull periods. They never were anything other then also rans, yet go around arrogantly looking down on every one for some bizarre reason...... they got the odd big scalp down through the years, and have beaten us plenty of times, but I'll gladly take a few provincial beatings when we still have all the silverware to look back on as an actual sleeping giant.

I don't think anyone in Kildare considers us sleeping giants.. you might have that mixed up with the fact that we acknowledge we have underachieved on the county scene and that perception largely comes down to the fact that we do have a big population and passionate fan base. In terms of resources, I'm not sure we're as strong as you make us out. The pitches in our center of excellence are God awful and the first full sized all weather in the entire county was built this year (fair play Leixlip). Dublin I understand have the leisure's of one of the countries top facilities in DCU? Now this hasn't always been the case and Dublin haven't always been the money (and talent) driven machine they are today yet Kildare's record is not good.

This said, neither is Meath's, and any time I get into an argument with a Meath friend of mine on the topic, we end up with a ceasefire and conclusion that neither of us have been better than the other in our lifetimes, none of us have tasted success and bragging about the 70's or 80's or 1998 won't help bridge the gap to Dublin.

If you haven't noticed we all have been minnows for a considerable time in Leinster. A little team called Dublin have seen to that. It is noticeable over the last couple of months Meath are starting to come up for air again but the reality is you will mostly likely just be this year's Leinster Final cannon fodder and then be scrambling for the super 8s like the rest of us. And up against it to stay in div 1 next year too but good luck with it, eh.
