Cheers - not on Twitter and couldn't locate via Google earlier but seen it there on OTB. I presume the red was given for the dig in the rib before they went down?

It's obviously not just Crokes/Buckley that have benefited from such appeals, but this incident highlights the issue again.
Does there have to be any public explanation as to why the suspension was overturned?
I.e. Did he get off on a technicality or was the evidence inconclusive?
I just feel it calls the credibility of the whole process into question if there's no detail provided.

Replying To clondalkindub:  "It was pathetic and I don't want anyone missing missing a club final and it's great he's not BUT Tv pictures from behind the goal clearly show him punching the Longford player. I don't get how he got off? Everyone on here two years ago after the Connolly incident told me a million times "rules are rules" ?????

So basically like we all knew at the time Connolly was witch hunted from the get go and nothing was going to stop them getting their man."
Didn't Connolly get off with an even worse incident in the allireland semifinal in 2011 clon?

So I don't know where you're getting the Connolly witch hunt from.

If you want to see what a witch hunt looks like look what happened to Paul Galvin back in the day .

As a Corofin fan I'm glad he was reinstated as it's always best when two teams have their full compliment of players. May the best team win.

Just thinking and this maybe a bit harsh but imo Crokes weakest forward is the only Kerry player they have right now up front in Burns, that's how strong Crokes forwards are and Burns is a good player.

This is going to be some final hopefully the weather is good.

Ah when is it not on Paddies Day?

Am I harsh on Burns or would you agree?

Weather for Croke Park on Sunday:
WNW to NW wind around 20mph with gusts of 35mph
Temperature 5-6 degrees C but to feel colder with the wind (0-2 degrees)
Senior Final will start with a mix of sun and clouds and the chance of a shower but should be sunny and clearer skys by time the game is finishing.

That's true, and ya I agree with you about burns, if his form doesn't improve drastically he won't get on the Kerry starting 15 as his cousin Dara Moynihan hasn't put a foot wrong yet with the seniors and had the number 10 spot sewn up at the minute.

Thanks offsiderule , I knew it was going to be bad down here in the south west but wasn't sure what it would be like over in the Middle East.

Clondalkin id say hes a good player who can win a lot of ball but he needs to improve his shooting.
He is in great shape and will give kerry and crokes a lot of energy around the middle.

Yeah its early enough to be getting an accurate picture of next Sunday but that's from a site I use in general for longer term forecasts as I find it usually is pretty good. Will check it again closer to the time but heres the link:

Imo he hasn't a good of getting into Kerry's front , can't see him getting on as a sub even. That's how strong Kerry are upfront.

It's not that his form is bad I just think the 5 other Crokes forwards are better which tells you how strong a team they are.

The crokes are strong up front alright clon, when you think gooch can only get on for the final 10 mins in games.

Looney O'Leary Shaw and Brosnan are excellent and I'd have gooch and Jordan kiely ahead of him from the dubs but I'd have an on form burns ahead of Gavin O'Shea . Jays they have a seriously strong forward line alright but corrofin are excellent at the back as well.
