Kids On Pitch At Half Time

Great to see counties bringing this back. I remember Kilkenny coming to town in 2006 I think it was and there must have been 50-60 kids on the pitch at half time with hurls and sliotars and footballs. It was a ridiculous decision to try stop it a few years ago. A few kids on the pitch with runners on won't tear it up or cause harm. Hopefully our county board will see this encourages kids to play the games and let them on the field.

It's about the only chance most children in the county get to play in Cusack Park.
