For those like yourself that don't know, outside of the retirements against Monaghan on Sunday we were missing three of our best and most established defenders in Niall McInerney,John McManus,Sean Mullooly; top scoring forwards the Murtagh brothers and Donie Smith, arguably the best midfielder we had the last two years in Cathal Compton, one of our best leaders in Fintan Cregg and one of our best young talents is Brian Stack.

Thats a lot for a new manager to deal with when you consider we would be favourites for the drop with a full hand but if we weren't so wasteful 1st half v Mayo we could easily be on 4 points now.

Monaghan appealing O'Hanlon's red card. Could be embarrassing for Mr Daly.

Wasn't a Daly involved and Monaghan will need Dublin's pull to successfully appeal what was a red card offence.

It happened 5 yards from the linesman.
What's to appeal.
That he was naive and stupid enough to hit a player in the face 5 yards from umpire.
