Niall O'Donnell from Donegal is a very stylish player. We'll hopefully be seeing a lot of him in the years to come. Lockjaw (Donegal) - Posts: 9116 - 21/01/2019 09:24:33 2158568 Link 0 |
Tom O'Sullivan- Kerry- Serious operator at wing or corner back and good for a score or two as well. macruiskeen (UK) - Posts: 37 - 21/01/2019 09:35:00 2158569 Link 0 |
Jimmy Hyland as a forward and Mark Dempsey and Mark Barrett as backs, equally as important but far less likely to be brought up here. While I'm at it, Aaron O'Neill is a great prospect as a keeper and Keepers tend not to be talked about at all other than critically. Barry McGinn would be the main one to watch for Monaghan I'd say. Very promising forward, he'd have featured more over the last couple of years only he's had horrible luck with injuries. If he can stay fit then he'll have a big 2019 imo. patk (Monaghan) - Posts: 936 - 21/01/2019 14:06:07 2158644 Link 0 |
This thread is for the best young players in Ireland, not the best young players in Meath.

So one person from Roscommon picks a player from Roscommon, another picks another from his county. And you have a problem with me picking one from my county? Wow. Need to get that chip off ur shoulder. Btw you will see how good he is when you come to navan.

Actually just after looking over this. Everyone has picked a player from their own county (presumably cause that is who they would know most about) yet I am only one pulled up cause I picked a fine young player from Meath. What the hell is this place becoming?? royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 24/01/2019 12:50:25 2159268 Link 0 |
I've just had to re-read the thread and in fairness I got it wrong and was naming Kildare lads, don't know why I wasn't called out anymore than you were RD. Your opinion is as valid as anyone's, at the end of the day, that's what forums are about.

Thank you. I actually don't see a problem with you picking a Kildare player ,a dub picking a dub a rossie picking a rossie , these are the people best positioned to pick them as that's the whole idea, players who will make a impact at co level. And who will be known outside of county in years to come. So you have every right to pick a Kildare person. Who would know better than a Kildare fan.
