Anyone have any idea what's going on within the club?"
Strange game to go and see if you are not involved with one of the two clubs?

There's a massive difference in standard between A league Div 1 and A league Div 2 to be fair to them

Not good enough for Division 1 and losing all the time has a a bad effect on a team. They were missing Daire Rowe for the 2 rounds of championship which would not help.

Yeah I wasn't really planning on going but was in the area and had nothing else to do that evening? Thought it would have been a close hard hitting contest with a lot of intensity but unfortunately it didn't work out that way

Tight at the top in Div 1 who will contest the final?
It looks like Simonstown and Kells who are putting up huge scores at present

All Divs are tight and competitive. Mahoneys, Simonstown, Kells & Summerhill all in the mix for Div1. Still all to play for at the bottom to with Tones, Skryne, Oldcastle & Moynalvey not out of the woods yet. In Div2 Seneschalstown are into final with Ballinabrackey likely to leapfrog Cilles and Pats who play each other in Final round to join them. 3 from Nobber, Bective, Meath Hill and Michaels in bother. Castletown top the pile in 3 but nothing else decided. Any 2 from Ballinlough, Walterstown, Drumbaragh, Vincents or Ultans could join them in Final or playoff. Depending on tonight's game Kilmainham could still pull a Houdini but think them Dunsany and Longwood are in real bother. In Div4 Moylagh and Clann make the top 2.

Ye agree Kells and Simonstown are going well. However if O Mahonys win their last game they are straight into the League Final. If Simonstown beat Wolfe Tones they will make the Semi final and the last semi final spot will be between Kells and Summerhill with both having to play each other in Last round. So I feel it could be O Mahonys V Simonstown/Kells Final as it will take big effort for Summerhill to win up in Kells. But their could be few surprises in the last round games

Big weekend ahead in A Leagues with lots of semifinal and final places still undecided.
Kells v Summerhill looks to be the pick of the fixtures in Div1 closely followed by Tones v Simonstown.
Kells, Oldcastle, NOM, Ratoath, Na Fianna, Simonstown and Donaghmore to go home with the points.
In Div2 Cilles V Pats is probably the big one while Nobber v Michaels & D/Bellewstown v Bective also look interesting.
Seneschalstown, Pats, Ballinabrackey, Nobber, Duleek, Dunderry and Rathkenny to win.
Castletown v Ballinlough is the big game but Moynalty v Vincents, Ballivor v Drumbaragh and Ultans v Walterstown will all be keenly contested.
Blackhall, Vincents, Kilmainham, Drumbaragh, Castletown and Walterstown to win.
Slane v Kilmainhamwood is possibly the pick of Div4 prior to the split. Cortown, Moylagh, Kilbride, Slane and Clann to come out top.

Division 1 is very competitive with only 2 points between the top 4 teams. Summerhill and Navan O'Mahony's are on top with 20pts, Simonstown are on 19pts and Kells are on 18pts with only one match left to play. There have been some very entertaining matches with little negative football throughout the campaign. The best of luck to all teams in all divisions.

In Div1 the most notable result was probably Simonstown's slip up against Tones costing them a semi-final spot. Slightly less predictable was the Kells win over Summerhill with the two now having to meet in the semi-final to see who plays NOM. The Tones result kept them safe and leaves Oldcastle in with a playoff to stay in Div1. Seneschalstown and Ballinabrackey go up with Pats win over St Colmcilles giving them the opportunity to face Oldcastle in the Div1 Div2 playoff. Bectives win wasn't enough to keep them totally safe owing to Nobbers big win over already relegated Michaels who go straight down with Meath Hill. In Div3 Castletown lost their 100% record going down comprehensively to Ballinlough. Walterstown and Drumbaragh couldn't catch Ballinlough even with both recording big wins with Walterstown now facing Bective in the promotion relegation playoff. Kilmainham completed their escape act leaving Longwood and Dunsany, despite their win over Blackhall facing the drop while as Div4 has been wrapped up for a while by Moylagh & Clann with Kilmainhamwood's win over Slane being the other key result.
