Anyone know where the league tables are online? www.wicklowgaa.net doesn't seem to be working anymore.

Afraid not. I always have difficulty trying to find them. They appear occasionally in The Wicklow People so take them from there. I suppose that keeping stuff posted online is only a minor problem fir an organisation with myriad issues to resolve. Forum has been unusually quiet of late. Everybody on hols ??

Ah this forum used to be much better craic - seems to be no interest in it now! The fact that the official wicklowgaa website is down tells you a lot! Only for Bill Hill / Garden County Sport / Wicklow People Sport, you wouldn't have any profile for Gaelic Games in Wicklow.

In fairness, the club leagues and championships have been run off in good time this year.
In the football, Junior C final was last night; with Junior B tomorrow.

Both of these finals in the hurling were played 2-3 weeks ago so club fixtures have improved somewhat.

Running off fixtures really should not be an issue for the county board. My clubs last league game was the start of May. We were entered in a "cup" competition after this but never played a game in it due to walkovers/ teams pulling out. Since the start of May my club has had 3 matches (all championship), that's one match every 6 weeks! Time to change up the league structures. This year was a disaster.

Hi all, I actually came here for the very same reason and happy that others are of the same opinion. Bill Hill, Garden County Sport & Wicklow People are the only places I can find anything in relation to fixtures & results. I used to love the Wicklow Online but it just seems to have completely dropped "off-line"?

While here I'm hoping someone can update me on the following query. I have been following the Senior & Inter hurling league & championship very closely but now I've come to a complete brick wall with the Inter hurling. I was looking forward to both quarter finals this weekend but I've been told that these games may not go ahead because of a necessary 3 way play off since Pats gave a W/O and therefore Kilcoole, Glenealy & Carnew all finish on 4 points and therefore the 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th places cannot be determined for the quarter final draws. Can anyone enlighten me further on this and even let me know if the games will go ahead this weekend because it was a great double header on Saturday. I just cannot find anything online for this and no one seems to have an update.

Further to this, I seen on Bill Hill that the date for the Leinster Championship first round is the day before the Wicklow championship final. Does this mean WW wont have a representative club in Leinster. Terrible if true.

It's disgraceful that Wicklow County Board can't even have a functioning website in place.

The old one was bad, but at least you could find fixtures, results and tables on it (eventually!). John Evans salary must've hoovered up every euro. Disgraceful.

Fixtures and results can be found here:

I'm not sure why it has been switched to the Bray Emmets website.

Thanks for that jailbreak.

The County Board must be trying to save money by not paying a company to host their website so they get Bray Emmets to do it.

That's a great development. Credit to all involved and hopefully it will be kept up-to-date into the future.
