Another good idea with again no mention of financial support for such clubs. Clubs that more than likely are working off s shoestring budget because they are trying to develop in a football dominated landscape with little resources.

So Martin, instead of the sound bites and kite flying let see some action, back up the chat with serious intention and financial aid.

Anything that'd help promote the game is to be commended but for me the answer lies at school/college level. The Dublin model was a long term strategy that has has been beneficial. It has provided them a senior intercounty side that are at the very least competitive and underage teams that feature in provincial and All-Ireland finals. They adopted a combined colleges approach to competition in the early 2000s that has allowed them to start challenging the likes of St Kieran's and KK CBS in Leinster.
